Sleeping With Tears

I cry myself to sleep,
thinking about you.

how you made me smile,
how you made me laugh.

and all of that was gone with,
“we should just be friends”

i left it all at that,
but how could i forget.

it started all on valentines day,
when you loved me so much

and ended 2 months later,
but i had a hunch.

im over you now,
or at least i think.
